Latte Dolce falls again at home. Città di Anagni conquers the Sassari stadium 2-1, with a goal in each half, earning their first win after three defeats on Matchday 4 of Serie D.
The hosts were under pressure from the start, and the visitors broke the deadlock in the fourth minute when Pralini headed Vasco's cross past Cherchi. The Sardinians responded with a long-range effort, fired over the bar, through Pinna. The red and whites continued to dominate the game and came close to doubling their lead on at least four occasions, three of which were saved by the goalkeeper.
Coach Michele Fini shuffled the cards in the second half, but aside from a shot from Biancu, the narrative remained unchanged. Lazio, however, were quick to counterattack in the Sardinian half, particularly thanks to Di Vico, whose header grazed the top corner in the 52nd minute. The number 9 also doubled the lead in the 57th minute, following a pass from Vasco, Città di Anagni's most effective assist provider.
Latte Dolce didn't give up and raised their game, hitting the crossbar with Pulina. The number 21 again made a run down the left flank of the penalty area, but his run was blocked by a handball. Pulina converted the penalty, finding the corner in the 80th minute. Latte Dolce surged forward and almost equalized with Dumani and, in particular, Saddi, whose shot was blocked in the six-yard box. The scoreline remained unchanged, and Latte Dolce continued their difficult period.
