The sprinter Dalia Kaddari, the Paralympic basketball player Davide Paulis and the writer Milena Agus.

They are the three winners of the "Nemo propheta in patria" award organized by the cultural and sports association of the Order of Engineers of the province of Cagliari ICS, in collaboration with OIC.

The acknowledgment was presented yesterday evening in the Conservatory of the Daughters of Divine Providence in Cagliari. Every year the commission made up of ICS members selects the figures who have distinguished themselves in the fields of culture and sport, and have been able to positively convey the name of our island overseas.

In recent editions, among others, the award was received by the multi-titled freediver Chiara Obino, yesterday among the guests of the evening, the architect Pierluigi Piu, the marathon runner Roberto Zanda, the culinary gardener Enrico Costanza, the professional and creative Gianni Massa, the sporting promises Sofia Zara and Pierluigi Caproni, and the Paralympic sportsman Alessandro Onali.

«Through this recognition we want to underline the fact that Sardinia has many personalities to whom it should give more, and not only in terms of visibility, because they represent a precious heritage of talents and can generate important opportunities to enhance our island and grow the our society», explained the president of the ICS Maria Sias association.
