Juventus Women are champions of Italy. With the 2-0 victory over Milan in Biella, the Bianconere led by Massimiliano Canzi won the Scudetto. The coach born in 1966 is in his first year with Juventus: in his career a past at Cagliari Primavera (from 2015 to 2020, in the last year also assistant to Walter Zenga in the first team) and at Olbia (from 2020 to 2022, with the record points of the Gallura team in Serie C and the historic qualification for the playoffs.
Thanks to a brace from Cristiana Girelli, Juventus earned the three decisive points to win the title. Second-placed Inter still have four games to play, but at -13 they can no longer reach the top of the table .
The Bianconere thus put their sixth Scudetto in the trophy cabinet and succeed Roma, who had triumphed in the last two seasons.
