New professional adventure for former Cagliari striker Joao Pedro?

The Italian-Brazilian, who left Sardinia in 2022 after 255 appearances and 84 goals, is reportedly one step away from reaching an agreement with Atletico San Luis, a team in the Mexican Primera Division. This is according to the latest transfer market rumors.

After leaving the rossoblù (and also making an appearance for the Azzurri national team in the unfortunate World Cup qualification play-off against Macedonia on 24 February 2022), Joao Pedro moved to Turkey, to Fenerbahçe, where he scored 4 goals in 20 games.

After just one season, he moved to Brazil to wear the Gremio jersey (25 appearances, zero goals). From 2024, he moved to England, with Hull City , in the Championship (British second division), where he made 35 appearances and scored 6 goals (best seasonal scorer).

Now, at 33 years old, the former rossoblù player is apparently ready to pack his bags again and move to Central America.
