Yellow at high altitude, woman found dead in a sleeping bag on a meadow at an altitude of 1,750 meters

Yellow at high altitude in South Tyrol.

The lifeless body of a woman was found in a sleeping bag on an alpine meadow near the Gioco di Meltina above Bolzano at an altitude of 1,750 metres .

The body was found yesterday by some hikers, it was under a larch tree.

The Aiut Alpin Dolomites air ambulance recovered the body, the emergency doctor could not help but verify his death. The Alpine Rescue of the Avs and the Guardia di Finanza are also on site.

The victim is a 56-year-old woman from Merano, investigations are underway to clarify the causes of death .
