Worker dies in a crash while installing lights for the patron saint's day

A 46-year-old worker, Giovanni Faniulo, originally from Putignano, died in Valenzano, in the Bari province, while he was busy assembling the lights for the patronal festival dedicated to San Rocco.
The accident occurred around 6am.
The victim, a partner in the company that supplies and installs the lights, reportedly fell from a height of three meters .
The assistance provided by the 118 staff was in vain.
This is the second workplace fatality in Puglia: in Manduria, in the Taranto province, a street cleaner was hit and killed by a motorbike this morning while on duty.
