The State Police have ordered the arrest of a woman as part of their investigation into the murder of a 63-year-old woman found dead in bed at her home in Latina yesterday, suffering from stab wounds. The woman is believed to be the victim's former caregiver.

Over the course of the night, investigators interviewed numerous witnesses and conducted further technical investigations, which allowed the Flying Squad to gather "serious evidence of guilt." Based on the evidence, the judicial authorities issued an arrest warrant, which was executed that morning.

Investigations are continuing to clarify the details of the crime, starting with the motive.
