With the entry into force of the super Green pass, the first doses return to increase. Yesterday there was a real boom, there were 42 thousand, a result that has not been seen since last October 18.
According to the government website, 47,434,836 Italians have had at least the first vaccine, equal to 87.83% of the over 12 population. In total, 45,809,339 are totally vaccinated (84.82% of the over 12 population). while the additional doses (boosters) reached 9,135,126.
Controls, in correspondence with the entry into force of the new decree, have doubled, but few Italians have been caught without a reinforced green pass. An all in all serene debut: out of 119,539 people arrested, only 937 were sanctioned because they were not up to date, 0.78% of the total.
"Our line is not soft, we are rigorous", said the Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese. Controls on people and businesses have been duplicated. Of the 13,027 premises inspected, 127 were sanctioned.
