Two more workers died: one fell off the roof, the other worked on a sandblaster
Investigations on both incidents are underway
Two other fatal accidents at work. The first took place in Pomezia, near Rome.
The victim is a 64-year-old worker who died after falling from the roof of a 5-meter-high cold room in an industrial warehouse. He had gone up to the structure to fix some electrical cables.
The carabinieri and the staff of ASL Roma 6 intervened on the spot.
The man suddenly fell for reasons yet to be ascertained and died instantly. The shed was seized to allow all necessary investigations and to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragic accident.
The other occurred at Silca di Busano (Turin), a historic molding company. A worker who was working on a sandblaster lost his life in an accident, the causes of which are yet to be ascertained.
After the alarm raised by colleagues on the spot, the carabinieri and firefighters arrived for investigations.
