The Covid free corridors for non-EU tourist destinations arrive.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza signed an ordinance establishing safety protocols to reach Aruba, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Dominican Republic, Egypt limited to the tourist areas of Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam.

Upon returning from these areas, it is announced, there is no fiduciary isolation but there is an obligation to carry out the test with a molecular or antigenic swab departing from Italy and arriving on the national territory. If the stay in the foreign country is longer than 7 days, a test is required to be carried out during the period of stay. You are exempted from fiduciary isolation by presenting a negative test carried out in the previous 48 hours upon boarding from the foreign country and making a further test on arrival at the domestic airport.

The ordinance is valid until January 31, 2022, except for any extensions. A technical monitoring and coordination table composed of representatives of the ministries of Health, Tourism and Foreign Affairs, representatives of tourism companies and airport companies is instituted at the Ministry of Health.
