Green pass with unlimited duration for subjects who have received three doses of the vaccine.

This, according to what is learned from qualified government sources, is one of the measures under examination by the Council of Ministers tomorrow, Wednesday 2 February.

The third dose was in fact authorized on September 15, so from March 15 those who have completed the vaccination cycle risk having their certification expire. So, while waiting for the regulatory agencies to decide on the possible fourth dose, the government has decided to guarantee unlimited coverage of the Green pass.

New rules on school are also on the table, and we are starting to think about easing restrictions even on positives.

For this reason, Undersecretary Sileri said, we still have to wait two or three weeks, but "we will also have to arrive at the possibility that an asymptomatic positive person can lead his life normally using the ffp2 mask for a few days but without having to leave the work, from sociability and from everything from which today it is cut off due to a simple positivity without symptoms. I believe that in a couple of weeks, when we see a significant drop in intensive care, this can certainly be done ”, his words.

If the trend is confirmed, he added, the emergency that expires on March 31 will not be extended and the obligation to green pass will also fall.

NEW REGULATIONS - Meanwhile, today, February 1st, new regulations have come into force. The Green pass sees its validity reduced from nine to six months.

The basic Green pass is mandatory, also obtainable by means of a swab, to go shopping and enter the main offices and businesses, including post offices, banks and bookstores.

Free access remains allowed in food stores, in those for the sale of food for pets, in petrol stations, in shops selling sanitary items, in pharmacies, parapharmacies and opticians.

The vaccination obligation for all over 50s is also triggered today, and the first hundred euro fines could soon arrive. There are about one and a half million people, exempted those who have not been vaccinated for health reasons, with the presentation of a medical certification.

The next step will come on February 15, when the obligation of the Super Green pass for all workers over 50 will come into force, under penalty of unjustified absence with suspension of salary. Anyone caught without a reinforced certificate to work risks a fine of between 600 and 1,500 euros.
