A man died and another was seriously injured in an accident that occurred on Nevegal (Belluno) at the end of a car race, a hill climb . A vehicle with a trailer carrying some volunteers cleaning the road overturned while rounding a curve.

The trailer crushed the group of people on board with its weight. One of them died instantly; another was rescued by the Suem helicopter. His conditions are very serious .

Around 200 uphill racing cars took part in the 'Alpe del Nevegal' time trial, competing on the long 'Nogherazza' straight. The competition was already over. The organisation's volunteers were preparing to recover the safety equipment placed along the route .

It was in this phase that a vehicle to which a trolley was attached, with some people on board, overturned while negotiating a curve. The victim is a 41-year-old resident of Belluno, the injured man is a 39-year-old man . The 118 ambulances and the firefighters immediately arrived on site and recovered the small trailer that had fallen off the road. Unfortunately for one of the workers there was nothing left to do.
