"The Pope rested well, all night." This was announced by the Vatican press office, with a new bulletin updating the Pontiff's health conditions.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been hospitalized for 12 days, the longest hospital stay of his pontificate, one day more than he spent following his colon surgery in 2021.
Yesterday, about thirty cardinals gathered with the faithful in St. Peter's Square to recite the rosary for the Pope's health: the celebrant was the Secretary of State Pietro Parolin.
In the front row were the faces of Cardinals Angelo Becciu and Raymond Burke. Among the cardinals present were, among others, Luis Tagle, Angel Fernandez Artime, Enrico Feroci, Marcello Semeraro.
