The body of a woman was found on the banks of the Lambro river in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano.

This would be Giovanna Pedretti, 59 years old, owner of the "Le Vignole" pizzeria , who has hit the headlines in recent days for having responded "in kind" to a review posted on the web , in which a customer complained of having been put at a table "close to gays and disabled people".

After the discovery, the firefighters intervened on site, together with the carabinieri and the prosecutor on duty. It may have been an extreme gesture.

In the review the customer had written that the pizza from Vignole di Sant'Angelo Lodigiano «was excellent and the dessert excellent», but, he had complained, «they put me to eat next to gays, I didn't notice it immediately because they were compounds, and to a boy in a wheelchair who ate with difficulty. I'm sorry – he concluded – but I didn't feel at ease."

«Dear customer – was Pedretti's response, which like the review had also made the rounds on social media – we appreciate your commitment to evaluating our service through your review. Despite this, I wanted to point out that our place is open to everyone and the requirements we ask of our guests are education and respect towards everyone. Your words of contempt towards guests who don't seem to have bothered you seem to me to be gratuitous and rather unpleasant malice. I would also like to underline that her annoyed look towards a boy in a wheelchair did not go unnoticed... Having said that, given this human baseness and poor taste, I believe that our place is not for her. We do not select our clients based on sexual orientation, much less disability. I kindly ask you not to come back to us unless you find within yourself the human requirements that were missing in your attitude."
