Investigations continue to shed light on what happened to Sharon Verzeni, the 33-year-old woman who died in hospital after being stabbed in the street on the night between 29 and 30 July in Terno d'Isola, in the province of Bergamo.

While we were looking for the person responsible for the fatal attack and also for the murder weapon, we learned that the woman had left the house - where her partner was present - for a walk.

A habit, evening walks, to lose weight, on the advice of the dietician.

«He went out late due to the heat, almost always with his partner, and they went for the usual walk, taking a walk to get some fresh air. She also did it to try to lose weight, because the dietician had told her to lose weight", said Sharon's father, Bruno Verzeni, interviewed by Corriere della Sera.

This time, however, her partner Sergio Ruocco, who Verzeni defined as "a splendid boy", did not accompany her, in fact he did not even notice that she had gone out.

«They had dinner together, but then he was tired and went to sleep. He didn't realize Sharon had left. She must have taken out the rubbish and then - the father hypothesized - she must have gone for a walk, I don't know what happened then. The police woke him up and as far as we're concerned he's a splendid boy."

Sharon, added Bruno Verzeni, had no worries, she was happy working in a pastry shop in Brembate, there wasn't anyone who was angry with her. «She felt good at work, she was happy. Now he had to leave for holidays with his partner in mid-August." In short, "she was a quiet girl, she didn't cultivate anything except work, the house and her partner".
