Breakthrough in the case of Sargonia Dankha, the 21-year-old of Iraqi origins, naturalized Swedish, disappeared and according to investigators killed in Sweden in 1995.

An over seventy-year-old Italian from Sanremo, SA, was arrested by the judicial police section of the Court of Imperia, under the coordination of the local prosecutor's office, on charges of voluntary homicide aggravated by abject and futile motives and the suppression of a corpse .

At the time of the events, the man had a fluctuating relationship with the woman but the Swedish authorities, not finding sufficient evidence against him, never tried him.

However, the victim's family never gave up and filed a complaint with the Imperia prosecutor through a Milan lawyer. The Italian investigators, who flew to Sweden in recent weeks, recovered the folders of the investigations carried out by their Swedish colleagues, bringing them to Italy and translating them with an interpreter appointed by the Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigators, the Italian, who ran a restaurant in Sweden, killed his young companion during the last meeting, and then hid her body. Against him, according to the prosecution, this time there would be overwhelming evidence.
