The control room on the new anti Covid regulations has made its decisions. Now it's up to the confrontation with the Regions, then the Council of Ministers, convened for 3.30 pm today. At 6 pm there will be a press conference by Prime Minister Draghi with Ministers Speranza and Gelmini.

SUPER GREEN PASS - It will start already in the white zone, and people who have not been vaccinated or cured will no longer be able to attend restaurants, clubs, theaters, cinemas, museums, stadiums, gyms and swimming pools. The possibility remains to go to the shops where essential goods are sold and to work, where the current certificate, which can also be obtained with a swab, remains mandatory.

The League has expressed "political reservations" on the decision to trigger these restrictions already from the white zone, but the super Green pass should come into effect starting from December 6, we learn from government sources at the end of the meeting at Palazzo Chigi.

In the yellow and orange zone, the closures of the activities will no longer be activated, access will be limited to Super Green pass holders only. But if you end up in the red zone, the closures and travel restrictions will be triggered for everyone, even for the vaccinated, emerges from the control room.

In correspondence with this tightening, checks on the possession of the certificate will also be intensified, the validity of which passes from 12 to 9 months.

The obligation of the Green pass for the under 12s is excluded, which will not be activated even when the vaccinations for the age group of 5-11 year olds are approved.

OBLIGATION - Another novelty that emerges from the summit at Palazzo Chigi, the vaccination obligation will be extended, which will also apply to teachers and law enforcement agencies, while it will be confirmed - and extended to the third dose - for health and RSA personnel. The new obligations, according to what is learned, will come into force starting from December 15th.

MASKS - Nothing changes on the obligation to wear a mask outdoors, which will trigger in the yellow area and for which no exceptions will be made for those vaccinated or recovered from Covid. Some regions had asked to extend the obligation to the white zone, the government rejected this request.

TRANSPORT - The traditional Green pass obligation (also with a buffer) should also be extended to regional and interregional transport. To date it only applies to long-distance journeys but it is being considered to expand it, even if the discussion on this point is still ongoing. A reflection was also made on urban transport, but here it seems difficult to introduce the obligation due to a control problem.
