Stabbed to Death on New Year's Eve: He Wanted to Enter a Private Party
The 42-year-old showed up in front of a gym rented by a group of boys: a fight breaks out, he is killed with a stab to the chestA 42-year-old man, Roberto Comelli, was killed on New Year's Eve in Provaglio d'Iseo, in the province of Brescia, with a stab wound to the chest.
According to an initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri, he wanted to enter a private party. The incident took place on the street, outside a room that a group of young people - including some minors - had rented to celebrate the arrival of the new year. There were about 80 people at the party.
Comelli had tried to enter several times and, after being rejected, he allegedly raised his voice and an argument with some boys broke out. When rescuers arrived, the man was already dead, killed by a stab wound to the chest with a 30-centimeter blade used during the party to cut food.
The knife was found on the street a few meters from the body. The carabinieri are investigating.
