Sinnai massacre, new sit-in for Zuncheddu in Rome

Second hearing with witnesses in Rome in the trial of reviewing the sentence of Beniamino Zuncheddu , the shepherd from Burcei sentenced to life imprisonment for the Sinnai massacre of January 1991 (three deaths), and new sit-in organized by the Radical party in the presence of relatives , the mayor of Burcei Simone Monni, the lawyer Mauro Trogu and Irene Testa, guarantor of the prisoners for Sardinia and treasurer of the party.

From 2.30 pm the judges of the Court of Appeal will hear four witnesses : two carabinieri who worked on the investigation which led to the review, the ex-wife of the son of the survivor of the massacre (the latter man whose testimony was fundamental for the conviction of Zuncheddu) and the nephew of one of the victims.
