The political controversies do not subside after the sinking of the migrant boat in front of the coast of Cutro (Crotone), costing the lives of dozens of people, men, women and even children .

The Prosecutor's Office of Crotone investigates the failure to provide assistance and the remittance of responsibility between the Coast Guard, the Guardia di Finanza and Frontex, which also involved the Ministers of the Interior Piantedosi and Transport Salvini.

The prosecutors asked for the documents relating to the activity of the units that intervened on Sunday night, with the investigations being coordinated by the carabinieri.

The opposition is attacking the government and the majority, with the Democratic Party asking for clarity on responsibilities, as well as the 5 Star Movement.

Minister Piantedosi will report to Parliament on 7 or 8 March on the matter, but the opposition is pressing for Salvini to report to the courtroom too, who, as Minister of Infrastructure, also holds the delegation to Ports and the Coast Guard.
