Emergency this evening at Orio al Serio airport, in Bergamo: the pilot of a Ryanair flight arriving from Dublin felt ill during the trip and was treated as soon as he landed at the Lombardy airport.

The plane got stuck in the middle of the runway and all departing and arriving flights were diverted. There was heavy traffic disruption throughout northern Italy and the consequences were also felt on connections to Sardinia.
