"Our daughter's memory has been tarnished."

Now the family of Chiara Poggi is stepping in force on the Garlasco case, "disgusted" by some journalistic reconstructions, in particular "insinuations" about alleged or secrets of the girl that could be at the basis of the 2007 murder, on which investigations have recently been reopened despite the final conviction of Alberto Stasi, who is finishing his sentence in the Bollate prison.

"We are disgusted by the statements made in recent days by various television programs. They continue to smear our daughter's memory . It is truly disgusting," says Rita Poggi.

"Our daughter - he continues - was a clean, simple girl. She had no secrets and no lovers. I heard that last night too. She didn't have two phones. What is serious is that they make insinuations about a girl who can't defend herself."

Shortly before, similar concepts had been expressed in a note by the lawyers of the Poggi family, Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna : «For weeks, the Poggi family has been the victim of a persistent defamatory campaign by the media and social media, which unfortunately is not even sparing our beloved Chiara ».
