The 80-year-old priest, Father Luigi Bassetto, who died while hospitalized in Feltre (Belluno), apparently died due to the fault of a nurse. Nurse who injected him with a dose of morphine ten times higher than that prescribed by the doctor.

This is what the Public Prosecutor's Office of Belluno suspects, on the basis of the report sent by the health directorate itself.

The 45-year-old was suspended as a precaution and placed on the register of suspects for manslaughter . An autopsy has been ordered on the body: the task will be given tomorrow to the anatomopathologist Antonello Cirnelli.

Bassetto lived in a hamlet of the municipality of Setteville (Belluno) and died on 19 June in the medical department of Feltre hospital. A few days earlier he had been hospitalized for heart failure.
