At the Cervello hospital in Palermo, a young man escaped from the emergency room after discovering he was positive for Covid. With a lot of IV needle and catheter still attached. The motivation? It seems he did not want to be hospitalized in the Covid ward, explains those who witnessed the scene.

To help him in the escape would have been the relatives of the young man, to whom the boy had turned to be able to put into practice the plan of removal from the emergency room devised.

The police officers intervened immediately, both to restore calm among health personnel and other patients awaiting treatment and to try to track down the young man.

Family members also risk ending up in quarantine as they have come into contact with the positive relative.
