He was planning a school massacre . For this reason, the Carabinieri of the ROS (Special Operations Unit) arrested a 17-year-old from Pescara, resident in Perugia, who is also charged with propaganda and incitement to crime based on racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination, as well as possession of terrorist material.

According to the investigation, the boy was working on the manufacture of weapons and chemical weapons. He followed a Telegram group focused on content and narratives related to the supposed superiority of the "Aryan race." The ROS operation took place in Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, and Tuscany.

The investigation, coordinated by the L'Aquila Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, which issued the pre-trial detention order, determined that the 17-year-old was seeking manuals and information for manufacturing explosive devices and firearms. The seized material also includes documents containing technical information on dangerous chemical and bacteriological substances, as well as handbooks for sabotaging essential public services, all clearly based on terrorist intent.

The minor was also seeking information on the construction of 3D weapons and the preparation of TATP (acetone peroxide), a substance known for its extreme ease of synthesis and already used in the Brussels and Paris massacres, nicknamed the "mother of Satan".

The explicit intent to carry out a school massacre inspired by Columbine High School also emerged.

The Carabinieri conducted seven searches of seven minors in the provinces of Teramo, Perugia, Pescara, Bologna, and Arezzo. All are under investigation for propaganda and incitement to crime based on racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination. They are part of an international network of neo-Nazi, accelerationist, and supremacist groups and social media channels, particularly fascinated by violence and extremism.
