Overwhelmed by his father's tractor, a two-year-old child dies

Tragedy in Casalnuovo di Napoli, where a two-year-old child died when he was hit by his father's tractor.

The episode took place in via Casaera around 1pm. The child's 36-year-old father was carrying out work on an agricultural land near his home when the child managed to evade the surveillance of relatives who were keeping him at bay. It was a moment, the little one came dangerously close to the moving tractor and was overwhelmed, getting stuck in a mechanical cutter of the agricultural vehicle.

There was nothing to be done, the child died instantly. The body was seized and transferred to the Policlinico II of Naples for the autopsy, at the disposal of the judicial authority.

The carabinieri intervened on the spot.
