Neomelodic singer Carmine Diamante dies after being struck by an electric shock
The accident happened while playing with his grandchildren: he touched the tap of a fountain in the courtyard and got an electric shock

Carmine Saturno, a neomelodic singer known as "Carmine Diamante", died at the age of 36 after being struck by an electric shock.
The accident occurred in Castel Volturno, in the province of Caserta, in his parents' vacation home. Saturno, as far as we know, was playing with his grandchildren in the backyard when he touched the tap of a fountain, receiving an electric shock for reasons that are currently being ascertained; the singer died instantly.
The Carabinieri of the Castel Volturno branch and the Mondragone radiomobile section intervened on site.
The area with the fountain was secured by the firefighters and then placed under seizure by the Carabinieri. The body was transferred, by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Caserta for an autopsy.
