Naples, hit by a bullet in the head while celebrating at home: 45-year-old dies
Another woman was injured by a gunshot while watching the fire show from the balcony of her home

The 45-year-old who was hospitalized in serious condition at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples has died after being hit by a stray bullet in the head while celebrating New Year's Eve with relatives inside a house in Afragola, in the province of Naples.
Accompanied to the emergency room by 118 staff, the woman did not make it.
Her name was Concetta Russo and she was born in Naples. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the episode by the Afragola carabinieri and the Castello di Cisterna investigative unit.
The episode is similar to what happened in the Forcella district of Naples where another woman, a 50-year-old, was injured in the abdomen by a gunshot that reached her while she was watching the show of the fireworks .
The first toll from the explosions on New Year's Eve in the Neapolitan city is 36 people injured - including three minors.
