Sixth day of searches to look for traces of Giulia Cecchettin and Filippo Turetta, the two young people missing since last Saturday.
Fire fighters and carabinieri have organized inspections in the Dolo area, on the outskirts of Venice, which will be fought inch by inch, even with the help of molecular dogs.
The divers are also in action, while the 115 teams and Civil Protection volunteers have begun to map the territory, especially near the Brenta, the Naviglio and the secondary waterways.
Meanwhile, while the results of the analysis of traces of blood and hair found in a car park are awaited, Filippo Turetta is under investigation for attempted murder.
«Turetta is in the register of suspects in relation to the crime of attempted murder - explains a note from the Venice Prosecutor's Office - also as his guarantee in order to allow the necessary unrepeatable activities. In order not to leave any investigative opportunities unexplored, some searches were also ordered."
The investigators also reconstructed the entire route traveled, in the night between Saturday and Sunday, by the black Fiat Punto in which the two boys were.
The car left the Veneto territory to enter the Friulian one. The vehicle continued up to Aviano, to go back up to over a thousand meters of the Piancavallo tourist station. From there, following a secondary road - and little known, the route via Montereale Valcellina, the most recommended by satellite navigators - the car got off at Barcis, traveling along the lakeside artery and then passing along the entire Valcellina, passing through Claut and Cimolais. The last recording is the one coming out of the Vajont tunnels, between Erto and Casso and Longarone (Belluno). The latter is a particularly impervious area characterized by ravines of considerable height. From those locations the Punto returned to Veneto to continue in the Belluno area. The investigators are trying to understand why the driver of the car chose such a tortuous itinerary: if the destination had immediately been the province of Belluno, instead of continuing towards Caneva the small car, in just a few minutes, and traveling comfortably in highway, he would have reached the same location in less than half the time it took.
To verify the presence of the car or shapes in the cliffs or in the lake, today Valcellina was flown over by a fire brigade helicopter that took off from Mestre.
