An amendment has been submitted to the Milleproroghe bill regarding the restoration of mobility exemptions in areas experiencing complex industrial crisis . This amendment thus restores certainty to over 300 families in Sulcis, who have long been grappling with an industrial crisis that shows no signs of resolving.

"This measure is eagerly awaited by workers, particularly in disadvantaged areas or those affected by industrial crises ," emphasized Minister of Labor and Social Policies Marina Calderone , "and confirms this ministry's focus on supporting the world of work, putting people and local communities at the center."

The amendment authorizes, for 2026, exceptional mobility in areas experiencing complex industrial crisis, consistent with the provisions of the technical report for the 2026 budget law. It ensures a comprehensive framework of protections for workers and businesses, offering adequate support to production facilities affected by reorganization or crisis processes.

"We are aware of the difficulties that accompany these transition phases and renew our commitment to leaving no one behind by strengthening protection, support, and relocation tools. Exceptional mobility is not just economic support, but a safeguard of dignity and social cohesion in the areas most exposed to production crises. This obliges us to support opportunities for industrial and employment revitalization, in the belief that regional recovery depends on enhancing skills and respecting work," Calderone concludes.
