Vincenzo Onorato and his son Achille under investigation for fraudulent bankruptcy by the Milan prosecutor's office.

This is what has been leaked in these hours. In particular, the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of the Lombard capital would be investigating the economic and patrimonial situation of Moby, the shipping company of the group headed by the Onorato family and on a series of expenses considered "personal" that would have caused disasters in the company coffers.

Under the lens of the soldiers of the Fiamme Gialle, coordinated by the prosecutor Roberto Fontana, there would be expenses (for houses, buildings, cars and - among other things - jewelry) for about 12 million euros.

Meanwhile, Moby itself, together with the subsidiary CIN and the parent company Onorato Armatori, has signed a non-binding "Memorandum of understanding", with a group of bondholders (the Ad Hoc Group) which overall holds more than 33% of the bonds for 300 million 7.75% Senior Secured Notes at 2023 issued by Onorato Armatori.

This was announced in an official note, which explains that with the signing "negotiations will continue with the aim of providing the financial resources necessary to support a new composition plan to be submitted to the financial creditors of the Moby Group".
