Pietro Silva Orrego, the 20-year-old who was seriously injured after being involved in a terrible crash at dawn in Milan, on Viale Fulvio Testi, a highway towards Monza, died this evening.

Two cars were involved: an Opel Corsa and a Mercedes G-Class Brabus.

According to the local police's reconstruction, the SUV, headed toward the center of Milan, collided with the Opel approaching from the left at Via Esperia. The impact was extremely violent.

Three people, all young Milanese, were in the SUV: the twenty-year-old, transported to Niguarda Hospital, was admitted to intensive care, where his heart stopped beating that evening. A thirty-year-old woman, trapped in the wreckage, remains hospitalized with a guarded prognosis at the Policlinico Hospital.

The Opel driver, a 32-year-old from Naples, was traveling alone. He underwent a breathalyzer test and tested positive for drugs.
