Surprise in Caivano: the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, went to the parish of Parco Verde before leaving for Sicily, to participate in the Mass presided over by Don Maurizio Patriciello. Accompanying the Head of State was the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari.
At the end of the Mass he spoke in the Church thanking Don Patriciello "for the work he does, to thank him for this magnificent celebration, to offer his best wishes to the community of Caivano, an important community".
"The wishes are not for the year that has just begun but for the children and young people," the president continued, saying that "hopes are placed on them ." The need that we all feel, the president recalled, is to guarantee " children and young people a future of growth, well-being, culture and professional commitment. And this is the wish that I address to the entire community."
"The initiative of the President of the Republic, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for his visit, is a very important signal," said the prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari. "It is the State that has made itself present here through the president and it is nice to feel that we are all a community. The community lives by laws, by legality, not by abuse or bullying, it lives by the laws of the State," he continued, emphasizing that everything that is happening are signals "towards the normalization of these territories."
