Mattarella: "Schools must be inclusive." And on bullying: "It must be fought tenaciously."

"Sometimes violence manifests itself in less obvious ways," at least for us adults, and there is also "the gratuitous violence of bullying and bullying." And then sometimes there are "social media as weapons that strike deeply." This is why bullying "must be fought with tenacity." This was stated by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking in Naples during the opening ceremony of the school year.

In his speech, the Head of State added: "Our Constitution establishes that school is open to all: it is the affirmation of a right," just as it is a duty to "integrate everyone, defeating dropout."

"We need," Mattarella continued, "a commitment to ensuring that school is everywhere" and "a commitment to including the disadvantaged."
