Fear shortly before last midnight in the Parco Verde di Caivano, in the province of Naples, due to a shooting, a raid with gunshots fired wildly.

«Riding their motorbikes, they have arrived once again. Covered faces. Heavy weapons in hand. They speed through the avenues shooting wildly. It's terror...", says Don Maurizio Patriciello, a parish priest who has been fighting against crime for years.

«Sunday is coming to an end - writes Don Maurizio on social media - there is just over an hour left until midnight. For the people of my parish there is no peace. Riding their motorbikes, they have arrived once again. Covered faces. Heavy weapons in hand. They speed through the avenues shooting wildly. It's terror. The 'spreads' are scary. Anyone can die. Lord, help us. And all of you who criticized law enforcement and government intervention, shame on you. And, if you have the courage, come and live with your children at the 'Parco Verde' in Caivano. Come on, honest brothers and sisters of the Green Park. Courage. The Lord does not abandon us."

As announced by the provincial command of the Carabinieri of Naples, nineteen shots were fired last night. The "shooting" took place in Viale delle Margherite, investigations are underway to clarify the dynamics and identify those responsible.

At dawn on September 5, the State made its presence seen and felt in Caivano with a joint operation in which 400 men were employed. A few days later the Caivano law decree was passed.
