Lifeless woman in a pool of blood: murder in the province of Chieti

Murder in Casoli in the province of Chieti, where a 66-year-old woman was found dead.

The victim was at home, in a pool of blood, with a stab wound to the abdomen.

The police are investigating the incident, trying to track down the woman's husband, who is currently untraceable, and who apparently left by car. The English couple had been living in a single house in a countryside area for about three years.

It was a friend of the 66-year-old who this morning, receiving no answer on the phone, raised the alarm after making the tragic discovery. His screams attracted neighbors who then called 112.
