The 19-year-old resident of Prevalle who was arrested after hours of interrogation on charges of killing the 42-year-old who was stabbed on New Year's Eve in Provaglio d'Iseo confessed .

The young man admitted to having struck the fatal blow to Roberto Comelli. After the arrest, ordered by the deputy prosecutor Laura Matrone, he was taken to the prison in Bergamo.

"The initial investigations allowed us to ascertain that the murder had been committed at the height of an argument, the causes of which will be further investigated", the investigators said. The victim wanted to enter a private party of some young people in the town's civic hall, when he was denied entry he started an argument that ended in the murder .

A kitchen knife was stabbed in his chest , the man dragged himself for a hundred meters, managing only to get the weapon out, then he died in the street.

The victim, Roberto Comelli , was known in the area for his criminal record and according to initial reports he wanted to "crash" into the private party of a group of young people who had rented a room in the town's civic center . That same evening he had already bothered some of the patrons of a bar. And also because of this way of doing things, "he was a troublemaker" people say, he was avoided in town.

Probably under the influence of alcohol, on New Year's Eve after being turned away several times at the entrance to the Provaglio d'Iseo civic hall and not being able to enter the party, he got nervous and started an argument that ended in bloodshed . The arrested man allegedly used a kitchen knife with a 30 cm blade that was used during the evening to cut food.

The stories of some of the party participants were crucial in reconstructing the dynamics and framing the motive, and in particular those that the Carabinieri found upon their arrival in Provaglio d'Iseo around 4am.
