Hit by firecracker: the hand of a ten-year-old boy was amputated
Also injured in Naples, Rome and Milan: a total of 180 in Italy. No victims, 35 arrested and 273 reported
A hand was amputated from a ten-year-old boy last night in the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto, due to injuries sustained in a firecracker explosion .
The boy was taken to the hospital about an hour after midnight with injuries to his right hand . Due to the conditions found, the doctors had to amputate her. The child is now hospitalized in the orthopedic ward. Upon his arrival at the hospital, the facility says, he was operated on "immediately" with "surgery on the stump at the level of the wrist".
Several injured in the night also in Naples: there are those who have lost a finger from picking up a bang in the street and those looking out from the balcony have been hit in the face by a firecracker. In Brescia , a 23-year-old Pakistani citizen had three fingers amputated while in Reggio Calabria a 40-year-old offender was hit by a stray bullet and is hospitalized with a confidential prognosis.
