She died from the fumes that developed in the fire of her home : the tragedy occurred in Romano Canavese, in the province of Turin.

The victim is a 70-year-old. The husband ended up in hospital, while the couple's son was injured while trying to rescue his parents.

The fire could have started from a stove located on the ground floor of the building. When she saw the flames, the woman went up to the first floor and was poisoned by the smoke.

The carabinieri of the Ivrea Company are investigating the matter together with the firefighters.
