The young women were hospitalized at Cardarelli for burns to the face and arm.

Three boys were driving the scooters from which the jet of acid started. The older sister who was injured suffered burns to her left cheek and arm while the younger sister to her right cheek and nose.

They told the police that they did not know the reasons for the attack.
