Hooked with the lab coat on the lathe and dragged into the gears, an entrepreneur dies

Accident at work in Resana, in the province of Treviso.

A 66-year-old mechanical entrepreneur died this afternoon at his metalworking company.

According to what is learned, he was working with the lathe on a metal component when he remained hooked with a garment, perhaps the coat, to the lathe in operation, being dragged towards the gears.

He died even before help arrived at the factory.

The Carabinieri and Spisal will have to shed light on the exact dynamics of the accident and the presence of safety equipment on the machinery.
