He suffocates his wife with a pillow and cuts his wrists: another femicide

A 55-year-old man killed his 50-year-old wife and then took his own life in Fossalta di Portogruaro, in the province of Venice .

According to the first reconstructions, Giuseppe Santarosa , a vigilante profession, suffocated his wife Lorena Puppo , cleaner, with a pillow. Then he went to the bathroom and cut his wrists with a utility knife , bleeding to death after taking a few steps.

Rescuers, alerted by the granddaughter who raised the alarm , found the victim of femicide and the suicide in a pool of blood.

The Carabinieri of Portogruaro were on site for the first checks, together with the magistrate on duty at the Pordenone Prosecutor's Office.
