A sixteen-year-old student from the "Emilio Alessandrini" institute in Abbiategrasso, in the province of Milan, attacked a 51-year-old teacher with a knife.

According to initial information, the woman would have been hit in the arm and head with a cutting weapon, but she would not be in serious condition.

After the alarm, the boy - who would have acted to "avenge" some notes, bad grades and questions gone wrong - was stopped by the police, who are investigating the incident.

From what has been learned it seems that the boy also threatened his classmates with a toy gun , ordering them to leave the courtroom.

The teacher was rescued and taken to the Legnano hospital. The attacker was also in hospital - in Milan - to treat some minor injuries.
