The attack took place in Turin in the bakery run by the couple, 46 years old, 45 she, who lives in Settimo Torinese. They quarreled, suddenly the man took the gun and fired a few shots, wounding the woman in the face and scalp, and walked away.

The 45-year-old managed to call for help and an ambulance arrived on the spot together with the police, and immediately the manhunt started and showed up at the barracks. "I made a fool of myself," he told the military, explaining that he initially thought about taking his own life but then changed his mind "thinking about my children".

In the family home, the agents of the Turin Police Headquarters following the case found a series of notes that the 46-year-old allegedly wrote before shooting the former patient - who is not in danger of life - and in which he refers to a relationship undertaken by the woman.

The gun was in his car and it was confiscated.
