The violence has been going on for a long time in Vercelli, since the victim was 12 years old. When she refused to submit to the abuse, there were blows and threats to make her end up "like Giulia Cecchettin", the young woman killed by her ex-boyfriend.

The girl turned to the police, telling, in horrifying detail, that she had been abused since the age of 12, first with small attentions, then with increasingly violent acts, which over time became an everyday occurrence.

The officers carried out the precautionary measure against the man in prison, as ordered by the investigating judge, taking him to the prison.
