The 18-year-old young man who attempted to "surf" on the bonnet of a moving car and fell disastrously onto the asphalt, hitting his head and causing serious injuries, died after nine days of agony in hospital.

Lorenzo Pjetrushi, this is the name of the boy who was of Albanian origins and lived with his family in Ormelle (Treviso), after the accident he was taken in critical condition to the intensive care unit of the Treviso hospital.

The victim's friends were the ones who called for help; they had spent the evening together to celebrate the birthday of Pjetrushi's cousin. He himself, having obtained a license a few months ago, was driving the vehicle. It would have been Lorenzo himself who asked to perform on the hood of the moving car. The 18-year-old, who was in his final year at a technical institute in Oderzo, lost his balance. The police are investigating the incident.
