Tragedy this morning in Turin, a crane fell on a building in via Genova.

On the spot 118, firefighters and law enforcement agencies. Three men, workers employed in renovations, lost their lives.

There are also three wounded, two of them are passersby overwhelmed by the collapse.

The dead workers were on top of the crane, which was already mounted, the firefighters announced after a first reconstruction of the incident: "It is not possible to understand what happened," says a firefighter present. The collapse would also affect the crane used to mount the largest crane.

After collapsing on the buildings - two housing units involved - the crane fell into the street.

“We heard a loud roar, we looked out on the balcony and saw the crane stretched along the road - says a resident of the area -. It was terrible".

The victims are Roberto Peretto, from Cassano d'Adda (Milan), 52, Marco Pozzetti, 54, from Carugate (Milan), Filippo Falotico, 20, from Coazze (Turin). The first two died instantly, the third a few hours later in hospital, at the Turin CTO.

Another crane operator, Mirzad Svrka, 39, Bosnian and living in Chivasso (Turin), and two passers-by, a 33-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, now hospitalized, in yellow code, at the CTO were injured.
