The Privacy Guarantor has launched an investigation into the "pirate" apps used to verify the validity of the Green pass.
"Several producers and developers, also from other countries, have made available on the online stores apps for verifying the Green pass that allow those who download them, by framing the QR Code, to read personal data and even doses or swabs made - he explains the Guarantor -. In some cases the apps also require a registration for the download and transfer the data to third parties ".
The authority also recalls that the Verification C19 app issued by the Ministry of Health is the only tool that can be used to guarantee people's privacy. And announces the launch of an investigation into non-compliant green pass apps.
