The decree that makes the green pass mandatory, starting from 15 October, for workers in the public and private sector begins to make its effects felt.

This week, the first doses increased by 32.5%. The data was provided by the emergency commissioner Francesco Figliuolo, who confirmed the positive trend of the last few days.

In detail, according to the data of the commissioner, from Monday to yesterday an average of 80,500 first doses were administered per day, while, on the same days of the previous week, from 13 to 16 September, an average of 60,700 were injected.

The most significant differences - underlined Figliuolo - are recorded in the age groups between 30 and 59 years old: + 79% between 50-59 years old, + 62% for 40-49 year olds; + 41% for 30-39 year olds.

Furthermore, among the population over 80, 92.55% have completed the anti-Covid vaccination cycle (it was 92.35% last week): in this age group 4,223,086 are immunized, out of an audience of 4,562 .910 people.

Between 70 and 79 the percentage is 89.56% (89.1% last week), or 5,390,753 people out of a total of 6,019,293.

On the other hand, there are 3,249,712 Italians over 50 still without the first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine. This is 11.7% of the total population of this age group.
