“They put the gun near my son’s leg and fired two shots.”
This is the story, told to Tg3 by Andrea Pisacane , father of Cagliari coach Fabio Pisacane , reconstructing the attack suffered in Naples , in the Spanish Quarters, by Gianluca, his youngest son.
At the time of the attack, Pisacane Sr. was with the 28-year-old, after their restaurant and pub in Naples had closed. They were walking home, and according to the reconstruction so far, there had first been an argument that escalated into a fight between three women and an employee of the restaurant. Gianluca Pisacane had acted as peacemaker . Someone had called the police, but in the meantime the three women had disappeared. Half an hour later, three of them appeared, their faces uncovered. "What happened? They attacked us. One of them, who had a beer in his hand," Andrea Pisacane explained, "threw it in Gianluca's face. They argued. Then one of them grabbed a gun, approached, and shot."
The Rossoblu coach's younger brother was then taken to Pellegrini Hospital, where the two bullets were removed from his right leg. He remains hospitalized, but his condition is not life-threatening.
"They were waiting for us," adds Assunta , the Pisacane brothers' mother, " it was a real ambush . We closed the place and they were waiting for us." Were their faces uncovered? "The police also saw it on the cameras that filmed everything." The investigation continues to track down those responsible.
